chemical peels / MEDI PEEL

At Perth Aesthetics we have mild peels to deeper peels, to meet your skin concerns.

What is a Medical Grade Chemical Peel?

A Medical Grade Chemical Peel or Medi Peel is a treatment in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to reduce fine lines and the damaged outer layers. This is done by loosening or dissolving the glue-like substance that binds skin cells together, effectively exfoliates the uppermost damaged skin layers, leaving your skin fresh, renewed and radiant. We use several types of peels depending on patient requirements.

What Skin Concerns Are Treated by the peel?

• Acne, congestion & breakouts

• Dehydration

• Fine lines and wrinkles

• Uneven skin tone and texture

• Overall dull complexions

• Skin pigmentation issues (such as age spots and uneven skin colour)

How long is the recovery and what should I avoid after my peel?

Immediately after the peel your skin will feel tighter and might look a little red (kind of like a mild sunburn feeling) but overall you will be able to go back to your day to day activities.

What type of peeling should I expect?

Not everyone will peel. The success of a peel should not be judged by the amount of peeling it produces but by the results you are left with! Regardless of how much you peel, the skin is till sloughing off at an accelerated rate giving you an improvement in, tone, texture, lines, pigmentation and breakouts.

•Results are evident in immediately

•A course of 4-6 peels 2-4 weeks apart is recommended

•A take home skincare system is recommended and available to purchase.
